Thule 400XT vs. 400XTR

i could get both ski rack setups for around the same price

the nicer looking one is supposed to be the 400xtr, but i thought i saw a car with them and it looked goofy

does anyone have pics of their sedan with the 400xtr setup?

I am a fan of the 400xt series as well. I think that the XTRs bars are too wide and bulky, plus they are two toned so it sticks out more on the car. Guess that really doesnt help you, just my .02 cents.

I have the square black bars I believe xt? and really like them. Check your local craigslist. I picked up a complete bar set with locks for $50.
