Replying to In State Tuition Or Out of state?
So... I'm two years (almost) done with college. I'm at a junior college in Orange County, Santiago Canyon, and have a 3.7 GPA, as a History major. I hate living where I do but I didn't really have a choice in my parents decision 20 years ago. I am transferring out to 4 year soon to finish up my education, and I don't know where the fuck I want to go.
I can get into pretty much any state school I want. A 3.7 GPA is high already, and having two years already done in college equals out to easy entrance anywhere. My pops gets me free in state tuition for classes, due to him being a disabled Nam vet. I REALLY hate living here, and if I go to a school from where I live I have to pay room and board. I thought about saying fuck it and going out of state and just getting student loans, but I don't know if getting 40 grand in debt is a smart move, since I only have two years to go.
I REALLY want to go to the University of Utah, or Colorado, but is it really worth it? Should I just sack up and finish school then ski bum for however long I want, and move to whatever town fits my desires?
Skiing Big Bear sucks, because... its Big Bear.
Spark Notes: Have fun in college and get into lots of debt, or just get the shit done with in California, and spend the rest of my 20's figuring out what the fuck I want to do involving skiing.
