Ya I get a good kick out of the lets spackle on make up and do our hair so we can go riding. But they will only ride under one condition, they get to go to the bathroom every half an hour to fix their hair and make up.

i truly like the girls who do their hair and make-up to go riding and the only thing they ride is the lift up...to sit at the top of the hill watching all the guys go past...yea...way to waste ur money on the lift tix!

I think that's bullshit that some of the girls are saying that it's not right for girls to take showers or put makeup on before they go skiing, it dosen't make them anymore bad ass. I take a shower and put on makeup before i go skiing.......yet i can still tear it up on the mountain.

showering is one thing, but makeup is another- honestly, who's really seeing your face when you are skiing? no one. Makeup is bad for your skin, and honestly, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Makeup is useless.

Wow. Lauren, I couldn't have said it better myself. I can understand make up for prom or something were you're going all out with the dress and everything else so ya gotta wear some crazy make up but when you're skiing? To me that isn't really necessary. I'm not calling anyone a slut here, but for me, if I were to put on a bunch of make up before I go riding I would feel like a hoe and like I was out there to just pick up guys. I'm not trying to impress anyone with looking good while I ride, I'm just there for me.

one of my friends that i ski with all the time is a chick and she doesn't put on any makeup and shit and she is the coolest chick ive ever met she is there for the sport and fun of skiing not to impress anyone which is 100 times better than a girl trying to look good for guys

I put on eyeliner every once and a while before I ski, but it's only out of habit. It bothers me when I see people in the bathroom plastering themselves with makeup. it's just gunna come off when you go back out there. I where a t-shirt, sweatshirt, and these warm black pants under my ski gear. It makes me warm.
