When you think of N64...

You will always remember some epic score you and your buddies beat at a sleep over in grade school. Maybe you also have an epic story, but here is mine:

Although we are all in second year of university, N64 is still the shit. My room mate just busted out mario party 1 today. After a few rounds of 20 we said ya fuck it lets do a 50 round match. The match lasted just shy of 3 hours, alot of food, and blood sweat and tears (literally, well, no one cried, but one guy opened a cut on his hand from a mini-game that you have to spin the joystick - he spun it to hard, and im sure there were sweat beads on all of us at the end). So after all was said and done the standings were:
Mat: 4 stars, 132 coins
Me: 4 stars, 131 coins
Mike: 3 stars, 202 coins
Andrew: 2 stars 82 coins

I lost, by ONE coin. ONE. It all came down to the last mini-game, it was 1 vs. 3, i was singled out and gave out one extra coin, it was that close. fucking gnar. Anyone who has ever played a 50 round match know how long they take and how crazy it is to get that close!

the only thing i have hooked up to my 40 HD lcd tv is my cable box, and my n64. its still the best system ever. i play banjo 2 and Legend of Zelda:OOT almost every other day

Ah I love epic Mario Party stories...

Games so ridiculously fun. One time me and three buddies played a 50, but we got too drunk towards the end and passed out on the 40something round.

fuck yea man. I got the Nintendo with all the classics, plus more. Super Nintendo with some good'ers, GameBoy with a handful of games, plus the N64 with diddy kong racing, mario kart racing, 007 golden eye, mario 64... the only one I don't have that I wish I had was starfox 64 or whatever it was called.

my oldest brother never played video games, just played football and worked out

no, thats a lie, the only game he played was Golden Eye... thats how amazing that game was

i would love to see a remake of it, but try to keep it like the original but with better graphics

whats really cool, watch the Golden Eye movie, then play the game, its like an exact replica of the movie, its amazing

someone in CounterStrike has a server running the original Goldeneye, with all the levels and original weapons and graphics and shit...
and the trucks drive around and you can get in em, and its multiplayer... like 32 players

StarFox (Do a barrel roll !!!!, Tried to beat this game as much as I could in 24 hours, 4 or 5 times I think?

the only thing that sucked was when PS1 came out. Then N64 started making really shitty racing games only, to appeal to little kids. N64 had its moments, but i really wanted a PS1 when i had N64

my favorite game for the 64 was goldeneye.

but my favorite all time game has to be on the original NES. that game BATTLETOADS. seriously that game had to be the best game ever created. i mean come on your walking toads with sticks killing enemies on different planets. best game ever.
