I recently started to actually use my account and noticed this. Full tilt was getting all this praise for being the greatest boots ever made then one semi important user said something bad now everybody mocks full tilt. Question have you ever used them mabye there really good. Users will be into something and then as soon as it gets old your gay if you enjoy it. While im getting my karma deystroyed on another note theres a group of riders at my local mtn, much respect for what they can do. For some reason they hate skullcandy because apparently everyone who has them is just trying to be trendy. I love my skullcandys and i support the company who supports the skiers. Im done

nice rant mang. In my local area skullcandy is way to played out. Kids that have never touched a ski, or board have skullcandy headphones cause they think there "badass". I love skullcandy (best quality headphones out there) but way to many kids that dont ride have them.

Sorry to inform you, but skullcandy's have some of the worst sound quality out of headphones on the market. They do work well skiing, but they do not have good sound quality.

what are you talking about! i got bling bling silver icons that go loud as fuck and are comfy as a slipper and were only 10 bucks. plus warranty if they break (5 bucks is all i'd pay). dopest deal out there for sure. Find me a better company out there that supports action sports and i'll start wearing them. and the quality isn't that bad, come on, its just headphones.

Full Tilt boots are fine, as long as they fit. Ive had mine for a little while now and am starting to like them more and more. But time will tell if they hold up. I dont personally think there is a bad boot out there anymore. You get what you pay for, and in the end, sometimes things are going to break, or not hold up for some unforeseen reason. For the people who have something to say about that, well, maybe just be sure you really want to hate it. Keep in mind, its just plastic fused and jointed to other plastic with some foam.

ps. skullcandy is a neet little company, and who cares about how many joeys have some headgear that is the same as yours? Take a chill pill about it. gosh!

Everything you said was related to that, which was acknoledged.

"Loudness" is about the last thing that concerns "sound quality." Which does suck on Skullcandys, almost any other pair of headphones will get you better sound quality. Again, not saying they're bad for skiing, that's a given. And they're mad played out here too, I just wear in-ear instead of the overthe head stuff, seems like it'd be a pain after you take a fall

i like to think for myself and form my own opinions, regardless of what the masses do.

i think my skullcandies are the shit...they sound pretty damn good and they don't fall out of my ears when I ski. that's all that really matters....to me at least.

I got scullcandies a couple years ago and I was the only kid at my school with a pair and now every one has them. I can't really speak for them as far as sound quality because I don't know that much about that but they support skiing and come in cool designs/colors/and styles. I listened to some scull crushers in a pair of vonzipper goggles and those fuckers made it sound like you were in a car with a big ass 20" sub or something. Maybe there are other sound quality things I'm missing though.

I havent tried all skull candy models but I do know that several of them have very high sound quality if you look at the specs skull candy gives for them. They match up well against headphones that are designed for sound editing. I know I compared them to some sony and audiotechnica ones. That being said if I remember right I was looking at their DJ model ones.
