  Sorry to disappoint everyone, but he's never going to blow.  He has zero local buzz, and all of that footage is like two years old.  There's even rumors that he's dead, haha.  He's not, although he might as well be, seeing as how MPEE ate him.  It's a shame, he actually writes good songs...check his myspace.

  Right now, if you're name isn't Meek Mills, Joey Jihad, Gillie da Kid, E Ness, Young Hot, or Cassidy...no one is checking for you.

  If you like his style, you'll probably like a lot of Philly rap.  Here's a vid of a bunch of dudes going in.

For the record, Philly rappers don't freestyle.  They memorize bars and spit them over instrumentals or acapellas.  They recycle like crazy.  But wow, annoying delivery?  I think Rico's spit game is heeeaaavy.

  Eyedea isn't really a fair comparison as he is definitely from the school of improv, observational, traditional battle rap.

  Philly cats battle, but it's more about energy, cadence, and charisma as opposed to "Who can most cleverly insult one another".

  If you are into the Eyedea, blaze battle, "8 Mile" style of battling, check out worldstarhiphop.com
They post new battles it seems like every day.  Also, Iron Solomon (sp) is ridiculous.
