yeah i fucked up my rotator cuff that way. reverts/butters are such a foundational skill but if you catch an edge your shit gets ruined.

Its not so much a butter, but it is the same principal, usually referred to spinning quickly around from switch.

In some cases, such as a single-hit big air comp, reverts are frowned upon because they are usually from landing with little control

but

a good revert on a slopestyle run that dosen't shave a lot of speed off is great.

i dont get the name though...re-vert. i get the re part...but the vert part throws me off. i am always vertical...and at no point am i inverted...so what is this "vert"
