A quick word on blocking ads

This problem started occuring a few days ago. Whenever i try view any sort of video file via the internet, the loading process is extremely delayed. Normally it take no time for a video to buffer, but now i have to wait literally 10 minutes to view a 3 minute clip on sites such as youtube, vimeo, and ns etc.
So, is there anyone who is computer savy enought to help me with this problem?? ++ 10 karma for any suggestions!
