Cheap Poles

So...

I've already gone through 2 pairs of poles, using them in the park, and I'm 200 lbs, so when I fall on them, they usually bend bad. I'm looking for a pair of CHEAP poles, and don't really know where to get them. Even 30 bucks sucks for me, as a poor as shit college student who just wants to have something in his hands. Anyone know where to get some?

definately check goodwill - they'll usually have some cheap poles..

thanks, i just hope this will be the last pair i break...

poles, gas, and food is adding up to alot. damn living in orange county.

i will usually get them out of the rental shop, because poles arent kept track of. Unlike the skiis and boots (they have numbers on them that are recorded by the shop) the poles are just sitting there. Because of this people who rent poles sometimes throw them into trashcans below the lifts, so look there also ....after all they are in the trash.

otherwise if u are willing to spend in the 20-30$ range i got some k2 v6 poles (carbon fiber) last year off of evogearoutlet.com for 24$. check backcountryoutlet.com also
