Backcountry.com- the new Wal-mart

in recent light of backcountry.com reaching their 100,000,000+ goal in profit for the year, they celebrate by cutting over a 100 hours from just one department. that's right, this means that some full time workers went from 40 hours a week down to only 8 and only found out just today when the schedules for next week went out. way to take care of the employees. fuck you backcountry.

Well I did some homework and despite airing your issues in a truly unprofessional manner which will most likely end you up with no shifts at backcountry anymore.  Your facts are wrong also.  The goal for revenue was actually higher than 100,000,000, which they fell short of.  It's still being determined exactly how short.  But considering that this company has one of the best business plans out there for supported growth it's no wonder that they are cutting hours and I'm sure the recent economic indicators will require that they also cut back expected growth for 2009 as well.

Anyways, I bet at least one person will be getting more hours at backcountry.  They'll be getting the hours that you vacated due to you being an idiot.
