Well I have search barred but found nothing really useful. I need to know how Bibbys are out side of the pow? these will be my skis for just about everything in the Rockies except for just cruising and park. To all that have ridden them: How are they in the crud and ice (on the way back to the lift)? How are the in the pow (float stability and maneuverability)?  How are they for the back country cliffs and bc booters? How are they for everything I guess? I am 17 6 1 and 260lbs advanced skier but not stomping 50ft drops. These skis will basicaly be my all around ski for inbounds at resorts and really wont be used in the east. Also where do most people mount these? Ima put salomon s9 14s.

there's been a lot of info on these buuut here you go

I've been on them for almost a year and they've been my jib/pow/play ski.  They'll float through just about anything and are super playful anywhere.  I think they've made improvements to help this but I wasn't really stomping anything over 20ft, mostly due to the tail rocker I believe.  I could go back and stomp shit with Rubies.. but yeah I was having troubles like that with melees as well.  anyway they are suuper fun in the park, mostly for messing around on and such but they are definitely stable on bigger tables.  Don't even worry about getting back to the lift or on ice, they hold up just fine as long as you carve that edge in.  and they're light as shit.  I had some z12s on them and they're lighter than most all my friends park setups.  I've been scopin this years model the last couple days and they look bomber as hell too.  Have fun.  no doubt you're going to fall in love with them.

i havent taken them off anything big yet, but i dont see them having the washout problem he was talking about.

they bust through crud pretty damn well, and surprisingly, they carve decently on groomers, not super tight turns obviously, but once you get em on edge they handle pretty decently

Yeah I would have to agree. Obviously they are amazing in pow, but I really was surprised at how well they ski the other stuff. I have only hit about a 15 footer but have had no washout problems. Also, I mounted at recommended and it seems like a perfect place (-3.5).

Your a big dude. I would suggest a bigger ski if you want to ski pow. try the hellbent 189. Shredddssssssss

Josh of Jibij got some custom Bibby's made for him.


He loves them.

I think he's even had sex with them. They can also help you pick up chicks. It works.
