beckhams injured ahhhhhhhh!

dont know if anyone cares about this but its an issue of national importance for me!
the england football captain david beckham is injured and may miss the world cup in the summer
(for u americans, the rest of the world plays this weird game called football where yo like KICK a ball with your FOOT, and theres this thing called the worlsd cup every 4 years and its pretty much the biggest thing in sports for most of the world)
i was at the manchester united game on wednesday when e was injured and he looked in real pain, they say he is oput for 6-8 weeks, so hes done for united but englands first world cup game is in 7 and a hlaf weeks, hes the captain and our best player shit!
first we lose the queen mum and now this, englands not doing so well
I know ive gone on and y'all probably dopnt give a monkeys ass but im worried the world cup is soooo important

I can't beleive that becks is out! England actually has a chance this year. But france will pull through again amd win the cup. I am still in shock that Holland didn't make it. They were such a force at euro 2000. the only player they lost is berkamp. they are still a stacked team. kluivert, davids, overmars, and the list goes on! most of u have no idea who these ppl are that i am talking about, but thats your loss. Itsa shame about becks though. He will be missed. But he hopes to only miss three games. hopefully he recovers.

I care lots coz I'm a big United fan (my family is from Manchester), but I think he is a bit overrated like Matt said. Who needs half a million bucks to kick a ball? I'm sorry that he's hurt, but there are great players on the team, like Ole Gunnar Solksjaer who scores practically every time he walks on the field!

It sucks hard because England is going to need all thier best players. They are in the group of death and if they make it to the knock out round as the second place team, they play France. Who ever said that England had a good chance this year, you are WRONG! Korea and Japan knocked England out of the top 8 rankings (and how the fuck did italy get in there) which is why they have such a difficult group.
It sucks too, because, as much as I hate Man U., they need to beat Arsenal this weekend to help Liverpool take the premiership.

football is soccer. period We call NFL/CFL football american football. They came from the same sport originaly. They split into association football (soccer) and rugby football. Now there is aussie rules football, rugby and american football. But soccer is and always will be the best.

Ya I don't think he will be back for the cup. I would say England still had a chance if they weren't in the group of death. Remember you still have Michael Owen who is better than Beckham anyway.

David B. broke/fractured a bone on the top part of his foot. You didn't know he was married to Victoria (Poshe) from the Spice Girls. Victoria has made some new music in the past years too. But luckily it's only gotten big in Europe. I would be devestaded if such bad music got back to N. America. They got a kid too. He needs the millions to buy his Gucci clothes for him and his wife and the island they live on. OK I think the celebrities in Europe are totally gay. And I hope all these so called royalty will be finally taken away from our awsome world.

yeah so beckhmans looking better now, he should be fit, england beat pararguay 4-0 tonight its a good warm up. losing beckham would be a much bigger blow to england than united as united have a much better squad and midfield,

Believe me there aren't many North Americans that are in to soccer. Most places hate soccer and call it a fag sport. Like in my High School the soccer team had produced a world cup player, a few semi-pro players and was always going to states and yet the shitty football team got all the recognition when they went five hundred.

Soccer is getting a lot more recognition than it used to. That's kind of a good think but it sucks too, because registration used to cost $20, now it costs a couple hundred.
