if you ski like a pussy whipped beotch and stand straight up on your skis you are going to think the TM is too far back, but the line is right on the center of the sidecut. If you mount forward you have more tail to deal with on the end of your turn, and less tip to power up when you initiate. If your only skiing park, you may like it forward, but I set all my skis in the center of the sidecut (mount line) so i have the maximum amount of power transfer through the ski, throughout the turn.
i mounted mine at the reccomended point. i do not ski like a pussy beotch, nor do i spend any time in the park. i think if you wanted to use them in the park alot, +2or+3 would be best, but for a real ski dead on reccomended is best.
The guys on our team all mount the ski forward. Crichton and the phils mount about 2cm up and crazy bastards like Mickael mount 3cm forward. Its all in the preference of the rider, but if you are mostly riding in the park, I would mount them up
