LOOKING FOR INFO ON SCRATCH GHETTO

I have done a moderate amount of research, but am curious to find out more about this new ski. I have heard it is the FS WRS from the past with a different graphic.. Is it? Also I saw somebody say (and I hate to discredit, but the person only had a few posts) that they had a sidewall problem with the ski. Just curious on info for this ski as it may be my next. thanks brosephs.

Are you talking about last years? THe whole series has now changed with the new series. I think the closest match is the current S4.

In any case I haven't heard any issues on durability of any of them.

well the s4 is just the ghetto with a new topsheet, i have heard of some of tier sidewalls comletely blowing up.

I'm on my second pair of FS WRS (identical to S4 and Ghetto) - my first pair was annihilated by a box with no panels to that's irrelevant. They are my 100% park/jib ski and their durability is pretty good. The edges are wearing well, no sidewall problems and topsheets aren't shipping much at all. One tail started to delam a tiny bit on my first pair after a few months but Mr Epoxy fixed it up nice.

one of my friends had the model from 2 or 3 years ago when it was still called the fs wrs and it held up pretty good.

my other buddy had the new s4 and he broke off the tail on the fifth day of having that thing. and he was just doing a lincoln loop over a really small jump...

but generally, they hold up really good

its a really good and fun ski. good for park and all mountain. the s4 is the same thing like everyone said, it did not change. they are fairly durable as what i have seen. there are a ton of people at my mountain with them so i would say that they are pretty good

Last years GHTO ski was awesome.. best ski of the year by alot of tests..
BUT
this year's S4 is (and i'm quoting Andreas Håtveit) "like skiing an 80s directional ski" in other words.. really badly.. He had to get a new pair of GHTOs from a ski shop in north of norway because Rossi wouldn't give him a new pair of "the old model"

so i'd go with 07/08 ;)

actually they;re 80% park 20% moutain. but yea, i love this ski!
