Is this really true about banning backyard ramps in SLC?

I heard about it in Thrasher Magazine, and didn't know if it true or not. Does anyone know, if so tell me.

yea its true...prolly a month ago that passed, noise complaints as was said above... another law passed down by the mo-mo authority figures... i saw some petition trying to overturn it the other day, doubt it though

its for mini ramps for skating... although i know a kid who got in trouble for having a backyard rail set-up... but i think that was just with his landlord

oh.. haha I thought they were talking about snow ramps. My neighbor has a half pipe in his driveway and that thing is fucking loud, so I know where they are coming from with the noise ordinance. Good thing he barely uses it anymore.

Is it a town ordinance or some gay little HOA rule? Living in a nice neighbor hood can be like communist russia if there is an overzealous HOA.
