Whats the best way to prevent your skis from getting stolen cause i just got the sickest setup and im scarreeedd!

ski lock, just make sure no water or snow is in there. ski check. seperate them(although they can still look around and find the other cause twins stand out fairly well). i usually eat outside, or eat by the window, so i lean them up against the window or eat beside them. or jsut ski through the day without lunch or a break! ive done that a few times, when youre on the east coast you gotta what you gotta do to savour the pow.

when we went to sauveur, it was busy like ass and all we did was when we went in the chalet we just sat by the window or something where we could see our gear and just kept an eye on it

I used to worry bout my shit gettin jacked but it never happened, i just split em up and keep an eye on em. its not that bad. Plus if you catch somebody fuckin with em you have a good reason to put your boot in their jaw

I had my twin tip skis Jacked last year it pissed me off so much. If you have a season pass at my mountain you can put your skis in this little rack and they give you a rubber circle that has a number on it, well anyway it put my skis up and went to go eat and somebody walked in there like they were getting there skis and walked out with my skis and gave the guy the number and the guy didnt check his number let him walk out with a brand new pair of Dynastar Concepts with some brand new Rossignol 140 race binding. So now im stuck with 200.00 dollars and some race skis, i need some twins.

ouch, i wouldnt trust other people with my skis.... i guess the best solution is to just keep them with you, or with a friend as much as possible. Skis locks suck, anyone could cut through that in a second if they wanted to.

befriend one of the techies who work in rentals. they always have a room where all the employees sotre their shit.
i just leave my stuff back there, no one can steal them that way.

but like smuggs said, no one hardly steals skiis. just don't leave them in an obvious spot.

last year i was soo scared of my ar5s getting jacked..i would seperate them or take them in. I got yelled at a couple times for taking them in. When I would watch, people would always walk up and touch them and check em out. One kid wanted to piss me off so he hid them. I ran around for two hours crying looking

most ski are taking because they are east taking no1 is gonna take the time to find split up skis so split em up on rack that have tons of skis also they ussally steal skis that are put together.

Split my Bandits up last year at Smuggs and they still got stolen, I will pay for the ski check if I have to. Fuckers took my Goode poles too. I think my shit was being cased... Luckily had my Nicks in the car,so the week wasn't a waste, but I walked them back to the car everytime I needed to take them off.

I had my skis stolen at Vail 2 seasons ago, they said I was SOL. They left me one pole though. I'm a lot more paranoid now, it's not worth it to me to risk getting them jacked again

yeah my skis will definitely be in a ski check in place this year..even though i had mine in those last year many a time. sometimes i just leave em around though....cuz im lazy, so yeah.

buy a ski lock. Theyre like 10 dollars. People steal skis they can just grab and take off with. So if you lock it to the rack they can't just walk off without some effort. Also put them next to some skis that are really shiny and new.
