They are exactly the same as a trampoline. If you can do them on a tramp you can do them on skis.
step 1: do about 500 on the tramp
2: do them with ankle weights on the tramp (to simulate the weight of boots and skis)
3. sack up and huck one
Funny thing about backies, I cant do them on tramps, but i can do them really well on jumps (up to 50 footers...CLAIMERZZZ!).
I dont think being able to do tricks on tramps is a prerequisite although it definitely helps. I learnt backies, mistys and rodeos off of backcountry pow jumps.
turpin...i know ur a whis local so i will ask you...wind lip on 7th heaven a good place to learn flips? or do you think a steep landing would be better
