So, now that we have an african-american president is there any need for affirmative action? For those who don't know, affirmative action are policies intended to promote access to education or employment for historically and socio-politically non-dominant groups (most often racial minorities and women).
Since america voted for a black president, it is obvious that people dont judge people by their racial orientation anymore...so is there any need for these government policies that help black people get jobs and educations?
