need help on rails

can anyone give me some tricks on how to do rails? it would be greatly appreciated thanks

come in the inrun with your weight centered and the rail headin right at your nuts. When you pop off the jump think of landing as lightly as you can on the rail, dont jump up really high and come back hard on the rail, it'll throw you off. Just make sure you are leaning forward and put a little more weight on your front foot and after a while you should get it

i need help too. when you say lean forward do you mean on your edges forward so the edge of your ski pointing downhill is on the rail and the one pointing up the hill or do you mean so both of the edges are on the hill?

K, here's the deal, you want to hop on as light as possible, try and get the rail under your boots, you want your skis to be perpendicular to the rail, you want your legs to be about shoulder width apart, for straight rails you want to have your weight pretty evenly distributed, you'll have to figure out where that is in your stance. yeah, sorry earlier when i said lean forward on the rail, i had problems when i first started of always falling back, i had to concentrate on leaning forward, but yeah, once you're on a straight rail, you wanna be pretty balanced like lito said, just remember the tips the other two said, land light, and look at the end of the rail, then just go practice

put your weight over the middle of your feet and bend your knee keep your legs shoulder width apart.
