ok well i think once you have everything connected you have to open itunes and then go up to file export library and then on the phone go to synch music

how are you trying to do the copy on bluetooth?
if verizon has some stupid software that you HAVE to use, then you've gotta get VMWare or Parallels and run windows on your mac.

Is your mac recognizing the sd card as an external harddrive when connected with the usb?

Yeah, I know. My mac always recognizes the sd card in my curve as an external hd.

your SD card should've come w/a USB adapter so you can plug the SD card directly into your machine. Putting the SD card in your phone will not give you access to the SD card on your computer when it's hooked up over USB. The phone operates as its own entity.
What you need to do is...
1. Put the SD card in the phone so it's initialized to the correct file structure
2. Put the SD card in the USB connector that came w/the card (or get an SD card reader)
3. Copy your music to the SD card into the correct folder (probably my_music).
4. Put the SD card back in your phone and turn it on.

put your songs on your ipod or a disc and bring them over to a friends house with a PC and just do it there

Bitpim is good for syncing Verizon phones with a Mac.
