The suit is definately more of a shell. The jacket has little insulation and the pants have a bit more. As far a quality goes, it is top notch. There are no extra pockets that you ask yourself "wtf is this for" and there's lots of vents. I haven't skied in mine yet, but the waterproofing suposedly performs better than advertised and the fabric is really strong. I'm already in love with mine........ no homo
i had siver pants last year and this year i have saga nd they are waaaay better than the siver ones. more quality and a lot warmer, they resist a lot more than siver and after more than 50 days skiing they only have reaaly small rips.
the quality is sick. its 2 layeed i think? ripstop fabric. the colors fade pretty bad. check out wiley miller's coat at the end of realtime, it became like a light green
Only used my suit for 5 days, so I can't say much about quality. But one thing I can tell is that the slider on the zipper on the pant cuff easily get ripped out if someone steps on it. So becareful with that, or you could cut off the Saga logo thingy ^^
My smartass friend stepped on mine and it was ripped out...
