You know what really grinds my gears

I dot know about you, but i normally end up taking a shit as i wait for the shower to heat up. and then its like well im not gonna flush if im about to get in, ill do it after. well that after is never remembered until later when i see a huge dump in the toilet. and thats what really grinds my gears

mainly the water heater. if you have a really small one it takes up the water and makes it freezing in my house. or some it makes it really hot. its a bitch

I think it actually has to do with your piping, the toilet fills with straight cold water so if you jump in the shower while the toilet is still filling you have to put up with about 2 minutes of straight hot water because all the cold is being taken by the throne.

depends on the plumbing in the house. older house have the plumbing set up so this occurs, newer ones tend not to. you can buy showerheads that prevent it though

at my house there isnt enought water to have it warm after you flush the toilet because the toilet is getting filled up.

yeah, when we were building our house we went for the plumbing where the toilet and shower are separate, unlike at our old house. so much more convenient.

you guys are so sick. cause not only does your steamy stinky shit fester in the toilet while your taking a shower, the steam from the shower then winds up mixing with your steamy shit molecules festering in the toiletbowl, and presto - youve managed to take a shit steam shower. awesome.

flushing the toilet only affects the water pressure for like 15 secs... maybe.. I'm guessing you guys are using sub pumps, which create this issue?

It has nothing to do with a "pump" or a water heater. Toilets and showes dont have pumps in them. They work from water pressure. Flushing the toilet causes a drop in cold water pressure. If you live in an area with inadequate water pressure, old plumbing in your house (small main lines) or an older shower valve you will experience a surge in hot water as your toilet flushes because there isnt enough cold water to mix with it in the shower valve.
