fell flat on the delivery. there was nothing there that I haven't seen in close to every other snowboard trailer ever made. what did you guys like about it? the voice over? the after effects tv shots? aside from that it was no more impressive than any other stock snowboard trailer, or skiing trailer for that matter.
also, if you are going to make a big deal about the movie being twenty years in the making, you had better live up to it by making the trailer relevant and interesting. I was turned off the second I saw the box slide/acrobatic train.

kids wanna talk about cheesy go watch the "reasons" trailer
"behind every shot, theres a story" are you serious? you have the best rider line-up since TBC and you gotta come with that type of MSP bullshit?
that mackdp was sick. voiceover was wack but riding was 10 steps ahead.

pshh, i didnt really like it at all. what kind of camera are they using? it looks like a camera used to film a soap opra rather than a snowboard film

Um, it's an HVX and it's the HD ski/snowboarder movie standard these days.......get ur skis out of your ass.

I've definitely seen the hvx look better than that though. It looked very digital.

I guess some parts looked digital....HD made shit look digital because the higher resolution. I can't wait to get a DVX!

But with the hvx you should be able to get somewhat of a film look. If you're going to spend the money on the camera you might want to learn how to use it to its fullest extent. Their last video looked great and was sick but I'm not feeling this one.

From a videographers view Picture this was amazing, but the vibe was terrible and the riding was average.

i have never seen a ski film use such great filming and lighting. The panning and slow mo with those high def cameras makes it really good, however i'm more impressed with the actual skiing i've seen in this years teasers.

i just watch it again and i got to say im still way more stoked on the reasons trailer n the journal trailer.
Everyones talking about creativity... what was so creative about that???? i really have no idea. I mean sure the cork 6 to wallride or whatever looks sick but not all that impressive, i mean ir u look at he seems to only be using that wall as a landing (and he seems to be landing at the very bottom of that wall) and we seen skiers do stuff this gnarly before. Not saying its a bad shot, its pretty cool, buy maybe not as amazing that everybody seem to say it is. The one shot that really caught my eye was that bc booter gap that was just ridicously. And honestly, that editing was quite ordinary, really nothing special about it. After picture this i was expecting a much better trailer...
And i wont even comment the cheesinest of " Time flys when your having fun"

to the comments about the intro/outro being bad because of the after effects they put on, those arent effects, theyre shots used from their movies from the past 20 years, hence the name double decade.
its going to be so sick i cant wait
