I didnt know i could steal by paying for somthing...

so today at lunch i am chillen, and realize i have some money. so, i go up to buy some thing from the cafateria (sp). Which might i add is insanly over priced.any way i go up to buy two cookies. As i am up there i think i may need something else (turns out i didnt have enough cash) to eat. so i put one cookie in my pocket to open the gatorade thing (this is when i realize i dont have the money). As i walk out i neglect the fact there is still a cookie in pocket. this is how it went down:

Lunch lady: sir you have another cookie in your pocket, take it out!

Me:what cookie... oh okay, sorry i will pay for that

Lunch lady: to late, i am writing you down for stealing

Me: okay, but i never stole, i didnt know you could steal by paying for something i never took past the cashier.

so i basically end up with a possible in school supension even though i never stoal anything. and even if i did, its a cookie, give me a detention and get over it... btw i realize it looks like i attempted to steal, but the bottom line is i never did, and they are going to try to disipline me for bassically nothing.

that blows.  lunch ladys take their jobs way too seriously.  a couple of my friends got suspended last year and hte year before for stealing cookies that cost $1

my school is gay as fuck.. $8 a day for a highschool lunch? so fucking gay, and we aren't allowed to have soda anymore but they serve french fries and fried chicken every day that are way worse for you than a supersized mc d's meal.

ya, i payed for both of them before i even went passed the cashier... i didnt steal shit.

the cookies are abbout 2 in in diameter and 40 cents. that is way over priced too

My school is fairly resonable...hot lunch is 3.50 and comes with a medium drink...1.25 for powerade..1.75 for ballin ass pizz slice.. and 1.00 for a kick ass huge cookie...but yah Ben just slap dat hoe and be like bitch please I do what I want!

Our lunch lady that sells the snacks/salad bar is pretty cool and wouldn't do anything if you stole something. But the nazis in the hot lunch line would kill if somethign like that happened. Our lunches are bs too.

HAHA. Reminds me of something that happened at my school...

My friend used to make these super legit fake cafeteria tickets so that we could eat for free every day. Then some retard who we gave some to (he's sort of a friend but still fully retarded) decided to make his own and they were wayyyy sketchy. The security guard was also checking the day he made them because the lunch ladies were getting suspicious. Anyways, the jackass got caught and ended up snitchin like a little bitch.

I steal my lunch everyday I don't bring my lunch. It's so easy at my school and even if a teacher see's you they won't say anything and most of the lunch ladies won't say anything either. If you do get caught though you just have to talk to the police officer at our school and he does'nt do anything except tell you to not do it again.

Sounds like she was being a bitch.  I hate the cafeteria ladies so much.  A bunch of burn-outs that take it out on kids in highschool.  Seriously, your serving food in a highschool, stop being a fucking bitch.

Anyway, this is why I'm always super polite to everyone (despite my statement above), that way if I'm in a situation like this, they might let me slid.

And yea, its BS cause you didn't steal anything, but come on, everyone knows not to put stuff in their pocket that they haven't bought yet.

But seriously you should talk to a higher up, and just explain it without being a douchebag and they will probably be reasonable.

wow i love our lunchladys they're all so chill
except for the foriegn lady who always gets you the wrong shit but she's still so nice

and best part is it's only 2.25 and we just got fruitful bars the most delicious frozen treats known to man

our lunch ladies are chill as shit. they smoke cigs outside with kids in our school, they don't give a fuck. if you get there before anybody else they tell you to take food before a lot of people come. so i get a $5 lunch for free daily. fuck yeah!

a kid i sit with at lunch (i sit at a really really random table) got caught stealing a sandwich from the school cafeteria. a week or so later he was paying for his lunch and the cashier says something like "so what are you stealing today". the kid ended up threatening to sue for defamation of character. sort of unrelated story but whatever.
dont let them give you anything, i hope a simple explanation will clear it up, but you could ask them to file theft charges and then prove them wrong in court

i hate my lunch table. my couple buddies and i sat together and a bunch of fucking assholes that think everyone likes them but nobody does sat by us...all they do is cause trouble and be assholes. i'm probably going to beat the fuck out of the one before the end of they year.

That reminds me. At our school last week a kid stole a bagel and got caught. Our school decided to prosecute and now they are taking the kid to court to make an example of him or some shit. Makes me want to punch old cafeteria ladies in neck.

think of it this way.  if you had your skis and your poles sitting outside. and someone stole your poles. isnt it still going to suck? just because they were cheap, doesnt mean its not stealing.

if you were "attempting" to steal a car and got caught.... wouldnt you still get arrested
if you were "attempting" to kill somebody.... wouldnt you still get arrested?

I hate the fact that everyone hates lunch lady's so much.

Does anyone ever relieve how much bull shit these workers have to put up with every day dealing with immature high school students.  Lunch lady's act the way they do because the kids at the school pretty much force them to. So give lunch lady's a break and treat them with some respect. Also if your friends are being dicks to the lunch lady's, tell them to knock it off, cause these workers don't need any more stress than they already have.

To the person who wrote this thread, what would you have done after you left the cashiers counter and realize a while later that you had a cookie in your pocket that you didn't pay for?

to the person not believing the story. It's not that unbelievable. I have almost done that many times. One time I had too much stuff in my hands at a convenience store, and I needed a drink, so I put my chewy sprees in my pocket and got my drink. When I went up to the counter, one of my friends whispered in my ear, "That was really smooth man." ...talking about me stealing it. I realized that I almost forgot to pay for the sprees and I paid for them.
Not a big deal.



On a related note. If youre bored and want to have some fun at the expense of wal mart and the local popo, go to walmart and visibly start putting stuff in your pockets in front of an employee. Make it look like your trying to be sneaky and trying to steal them. Give the police a little time to get there cause they will be waiting for you outside or near the check out line. Youre not stealing unless you take them out of the store. Just calmly, and nonchalantly go up and take all the items out of your pockets by the register and pay for them all and act like the cops arent there when you are paying for them. Then say Hi to them on the way out.

hahah theres the biggest pushover lady who works in my schools cafeteria, she thought i laughed at her when she was talking to me so she says "go to the office right now" and im just like "no" so then she goes "i said go to the office" so i again said no, she asked me like 4 more times and i eventually just said "can u give up already im not going to the office" and then she just walked off, same thing has happened to me like 5 times this year in our cafeteria

how'd the cookies taste?

At my school, i swear that the caf. ladies just give you money. Almost everyone i know has gotten like, 9.50 back when paying for a 50 cent item with a five. It's great. We all think they hate the school, and its sabotage.

Ok, this wasnt attemped theft... this was i need to get something else, so i will put something in my pocket temporarily (i realize it looks bad) intending to pay for. the woman tell me i am trying to steal it... i pay for it, with no resistance or shit, and she accuses me of stealing. it looked bad. but i did nothing wrong

The lunch ladys at my school are pretty chillen. They definitely know i smoke weed and sometimes joke around with me about it... They arnt shy about hookin it up, and im pretty sure a couple of them might actually blaze too.

I go in there every morning for my coffee and there is a coffee card program, and instead of needing to buy 5 coffees to get one free, i only need to buy 4. primo sht.
