Paying 30 dollars for a dvd is ridiculous, is there anywhere's when you can get it for 20? I ride bmx and all the dvds are 20 and thats not to bad, but 30 bucks is WAY to expensive.

No, he's got a point. Ski stuff, especially 'extras' like DVDs, especially stuff produced by 'rider-owned' companies, is too expensive. Sure people have to make a living, but it's getting out of hand. It's as if 'rider-owned/operated' means 'We're gonna fuck you out of as much money as possible'. Sure sure, start-up costs, and etc, are high, but where does that stuff end and the profit-grabbing start?

No its not supply and demand... it breaks down like this: You buy it from a retailer for 30 bucks, they bought it from a distributor for 15 bucks, so they make their money back and their money again. the distributor gives the video company depending on how good a deal they struck up with them, between 1/3 and a half of 15 bucks.... usualy more like a 1/3. Thats a grand total of 4 dollars and 95 cents back in the pocket of the video producer for every copy sold.
