Crunchy vs Smooth: A peanut butter debate.

First off i would like to voice my opinion and say smooth prevails over crunchy. Crunchy peanutbutter is a waste of time. Personaly i find that the peanut chuncks get stuck in teeth and worse, in poop. There is no need for the chunks, they do not add any additional flavour. If anything they take away from the creamy flavour of peanut butter, much less screw up the texture. Peanut butter is great, i love it, just not crunchy.

there is on excuse for cruchy peanut butter. it's a waste of tiem, it takes extra chewing and disrupts the spreading process. is also looks more like vomit than creamy peanut butter. now consider this: would you rather be smooth and buttery or chunky? i think the point is clear

I prefer smooth because of the excellent butter transfer from the knife directly to the bread. It glides so much nicer than chunky when spreading. So chunky gets my vote.

Yep, P&J just doesn't work with crunchy - so I am going with smooth. It doesn't stick to the knife and tear up the bread like crunchy does.

Crunchy tastes so much better, so if your just scraping it out of the jar with your fingers then definately crunchy. However when spreading it, smooth does have its advantages. So in conculsion they're both good.
