kinked rails

alright, i think i've got straight rails down pretty well now and i wanna move on to kinked rails. There a pretty nice one at my hill but i have only tried the flat part of the rail and then just jumped off before it was about to kink, cause i don't really know how to about riding a kinked rail.

Should I ride the straight part then when I come to the kink, should I jump it and grind the bottom or should i just ride the entire thing. I was also wondering if it would be easier to just jump the top part and slide down the straight part. To give you an idea here is what the rail looks like

the only difference is that the downslope isn't quite so steep. How should i first timer go about doing a rail like this.

when u clear the top part of a kinked rail its disaster, We have a trapizoid/Kinked rail and I can do the flat part but I fall half way down the sloped part

sorry for that shitty rail diagram it looked a lot different in the text box.

its pretty much about a 4 foot straight rail, then it kinks, then it's straight about 10 or 15 feet.

we have the same rail prety much at central. i can never doo it, i try a lot though. on wednesday i hurt my thumb on it, i finally got past the kink but then i caught an edge and felll on my face, it hurt. i love rails.

just transfer your weight....
as you come to the kink you'll get air off the flat.....and then transfer your weight in the air

kinks r alot easier than u think i got it like my 4th time .. just keep practicing and look at the end of the rail and keep balaced flat on your base of the skis

igot it my first try. just dont do anything. my body just goes with the rail. its weird. tryin swtch 270 disasters this weekend. im thinkin about a 450...well see. if i try it there will def be vid clips for you guys. on WBP.
