so yeah my friend LS STEEZ (luke) wants me to post this thread for him, his computer is acting up and he's trying to make an icon on paint, and its saying its "too big of a file" or something. how does he make the icon smaller so he can use it for NS. and a clarification of what the "K" means in file size. i hope i'm making sense, thank you!

go on photoshop and just make a new file thats 50 x 50 pixels, and then just resize the picture so it fits. or if u dont have photoshop download GIMP (google it), its an easy way of resizing images to make them smaller.

the small means file size, not picture size.
save it as a .gif, you'll be set

I don't know if you are still having problems resizing your file or not, but if you are...
google a program called irfanview - download it.
once you've downloaded the program, open it.
click file - open and select the file he is trying to resize.
once the file is opened there is an option to resize the image.
adjust to appropriate size....sounds like 50x50 is what people are suggesting.
save file under a different name - just in case you don't like how it turns out.
