Beach Boys, Beatles, Monkees

I'm going through a 60's phase right now with the Beach Boys (Brian Wilson is a genius) and the Beatles, a little bit of the Monkees. I hadn't really listened to them before, and I never realized what I was missing until now. The harmonics are perfect, smooth rhythms, and chill. Anyone else?

The beatles are one of my favorite group. I'm always finding songs of their that I haven't listened to before. Through listening to the beatles I began to like Grateful dead alot more for some reason.

the beatles anthologies, particularly 2 and 3, are some of the greatest albums EVER. also check out the loving spoonful, the kinks, old school rolling stones

Word, they have so much material it's almost impossible to listen to it all. You can definately hear Beatles' overtones in Grateful Dead and Phish, but I've never liked them that much.
Oh, and Pink Floyd, too.

i would rather hear actual monkeys make a record than listen to one monkees' song. they are terrible.
