Glitch in the karma system...

I am not sure if this is working correctly or not, but I found out that you can go into threads that you have posted in and rate your own karma up in every instance.  Seems strange for a couple of reasons:

First, you should not be able to raise your own karma.

Second, if you have already rated yourself, you should not be able to keep raising it every time you see your name in a thread.

Is this a problem?


Just thought I would let you guys know...

yah and you can keep doing it too. i'd be funny if they made it give you negative karma every time you did it.

It doesn't work, if you rate someone on this site it is saved so the next time you highlight their karma your previous vote is still there.

Now if you vote for yourself the next time you go to do it it will still read N/A it does not save your previous vote.

Well it would be NoPoles... and he is kinda off his game since it shouldn't even allow us to rate ourselves, whether or not it does anything. Not that its a big deal at all, I'm just sayin.

You are right, we should not be able to see that bubble if it's our profile.

But don't worry, even if you rate yourself the vote doesn't count. And this is proved by the N/A returned result.

Anyway, I will change that and apply it for the next revision. Thanks for the tip man! :)
