The Grand Slam Invitational Slopestyle - March 29 - Crabbe Mountain

Fox Subaru presents The Grand Slam Invitational Slopestyle event at Crabbe Mountain.  We will be reworking our terrain park and adding a new feature or two just for this event.  There is $1000 first prize for the top Skier and $1000 first prize for the top Snowboarder.  There are 8 invites which will be mailed out shortly to your ski hill.  There are 8 loto spots.  Send and email to info@crabbemountain.com before March 23rd, include any reason why you should be in this event.  Include Videos, pics, placings in other events, sponsors.

Format will be head to head.

Each Mountain should be receiving 1 skier and 1 snowboard invite at any time now.  Doesn't hurt to send in your info!

Choice...Down Flat Down or Double Barrel Rail...Very urban setup for both.  We're putting a wide flat box on the middle jump...and then the last jump.

I'll find out what 2nd and 3rd place prizes are and get back to you but they are product NOT cash.

Thanks to all who made it out to the Grand $lam.  It was a huge success for both Crabbe and more importantly for our sponsors.  The setup was perfect, the competitors threw down.  Thanks to all involved.

Here is the Snowboard Video from the Comp put together by Terry Oakes.  Look for the skier video to be out shortly.

Terrain Park is still setup the same as the comp, plus another rail line next to the Comp line.  We're also still 100% open boundary to boundary.  5 days a week.  We need another 5 cms of snow to hit 15 feet on the season.

wow - i have been skiing park for more than 10 yrs in the maritimes and have never heard of such good feed back and vibe!
WW hade it in 2005, poley in 04 and 05...
J and Steph u guys have figured out and doin somethin that nobody else is doin right now.  props to richard cote also. 

darkside was up for the event and some good footage was caught - look for it in our release comin in fall 2008.

Once again, thanks a bunch for all the great feedback.  We are already planning to build of the success of this past year to make this upcoming season even better.
