They're just the straight up look px12 not the lifter or jib or the ti. They're basically the exact same as your rossi's except with a different paint job. So if you liked those you'll like these.

Good bindings, reliable, favoured by a majority of NS for current consumer bindings.

Because half of NS is small 15-16 year olds that don't need 15 din bindings because their size or skiing ability. I'm a small guy, and due to my size px12's work fine.

I think they have excellent release properties - Just because they aren't Turntable/FKS style, doesn't mean that they aren't good. I believe they have THE most elastic travel out there, multidirectional release in the toe, fairly lightweight - overall very reliable, for the price.
I think the older Pivot series were better purely because of the heel design, but the PX aren't bad at all.

i'm on my second year with my px 12's and i've never had any problems with damage or prereleasing... din of about 7 is fine for me at 5'10" 165. really durable binding that won't keep you in the shop with repairs

personally, i find them kinda heavy. and the nose pieces pre release for me every so often which sucks. also i would like to add that a din of 6 for a person who weighs 180 pounds seems much too low. i weigh 125 and my din the the px12 is at 8 or 9

I'm 5'9-10ish, 150lbs and have mine set at 7.
They are really really great except for so so landings switch where they come out mad easily. I think I need to get my din set higher tho.
Also, anyone have any info on next year's salomon STH 14. There are two models, one with the STH16 toepiece it looks like and another with kind of a Z12/S912 toe piece combo. Both seem to be STH so they are obvi a lot better then the shitty plastic ones. On the one with the newish toe piece, it says it has a "pivot" of some kind,
Any info on that guys?
