Torn between FKS155 and Look PX 15 FS

So I was looking at getting either this:

Anyway, I searched around a bit and found pros and cons of both, but would still like a bit of information on the new look binding with the PX heel piece.

Me: 6'2" 230lbs. Aggressive park skier that recently partially tore my ACL... which means that I'm doing nothing bigger than 30ft jumps. Um, they will be going on some Ninthward Firstbloods. That will be close to centermounted for park riding. I'm not looking for something to do huge stuff, but I do want something that won't break on me like my 4frnt deadbolts recently did.

I thought about the FKS due to the turn table heelpiece, but I already have some FKS 185s, and I don't know if I want to go through the trouble of bending the brakes all over again... that, and the narrow mounting pattern bugs me a bit, especially for someone my size.

Is the PX heelpiece THAT bad? The new PX race/freestyle binding looks to be no different than the FKS except it comes with a reinforced PX heel. It also comes with a wide break, so no bending required.

Any suggestions?

for $10 more, i would def go FKS 155, much more durable and a better reputation. 

Have you checked out the FKS 120s?  I know 12 din may seem light for your weight, but the vertical release on the toe might be worth it.  Although it might just be "piece of mind,"  I blew out my knee this season in my FKS 120s set at din 8 on a backwards twisting fall, where the toe should've released.  I'm 5-9 160, pure park skier.

the new heel piece allows for better lateral release and it's still bombproof!!!!!!!!!!!

Does it have the wormscrew in the back for forward pressure adjustment, like on FKS bindings?

I think its more a matter of convenience on this. I really don't care about bending the brake, but if there is an option available for the same price I'm going to go with the pre-bent brake, of course.

no it's built with the same design as the normal PX heel

^Really? Cause the 18 DIN version does have the micro adjust heel. My bro has the dynastar 18 DIN PX on his legend pros and they are fucking sick bindings. And having wide brakes is a bonus,

Wrong!

I am looking at a pair right now and they have the wormscrew adjustment. The PX 15 and 18 heel are solid metal housing and supper durable. Toe piece is same on both bindings. And not having to bend breaks is nice.

The PX heel provides more forward pressure then the fks heel.

The PX race stock bindings are supper legit.

The heel screw pattern on the PX bindings are much wider and more efficient at holding someone your size onto the ski than any FKS binding. Last season I tore 2 screws out of my firstbloods on some PX 12's. I am 6'2" 180 and I know for a fact that I would have completely tore the FKS heel pattern out of those skis. The PX heel is much bulkier, but it is just as safe and has better elasticity than a solid metal race binding. For someone your size I would recommend a binding with a wider screw pattern i.e. the PX style binding.

Each binding has its merits, but there's no denying that both are super solid.  Since you don't want to bend brakes I'd go with the PX15's, you'll be happy with them.

I have never seen anyone NOT have problems with the new heel peice design popping off early. they pre-release like nothing else.
