alta, bird, if youre into a little hiking-solitude. you could hit up deer valley for some ill tree skiing because all the joeys are too afraid to go a foot off the trail.

Definitely would not have stayed in PC if you plan on skiing outside of the park mainly. The best places to ski pow are Brighton, Alta, Solitude, and Snowbird. Alta and Snowbird being in Little Cottonwood Canyon and Brighton and Solitude in Big Cottonwood Canyon. Its a bit of a bitch getting to the Cottonwood canyons from PC, your best bet would have been staying in SLC if you wanted to slay the pow. If you want less crowds then stick to Big Cottonwood Canyon. BCC has siiiick terrain and is a bit less crowded. Alta and Snowbird get beat fassst. Though Alta's style is classic so spend at least one day at Alta. If you have the right tools and are learned in the backcountry go rip that, probably your best bet for untracked, big jumps, mini golf, and other fun.
