why do racers think their shit rates?

Im new to this site, but what the hell are racers doing on here?? why do they think that because of all the rad shit freeriders are throwin that they also are entitled to some of that coolness? I mean when a racer is goin up a chairlift and every freerider and snowboarder in snowball range is chucking chunks of ice at them from the park you think they'd get the message. why do they have to bomb through the park or pipe all rigged up in their racing shit and straight air a hit? i HATE that shit, why dont those assbags stay the fuck away from our sport?

i'll be honest, racers tend to be rich cocky bastards, but i'm slightly entertained when they bomb through the park and staight air of of a 50' table...imagine if racers didn't exist- there would be about half as many posts on this site...there would be nothing talk about!

for all of u guys saying that racers are the only ones busting straight airs of 50' tables. they first time you hit a 50 footer were you throwin lincoln loop 540 quadragrabs? I spent almost an entire season two years ago just learning straight airs of big jumps. Only last season did i start spinning and whatnot.

racing doesnt take skill. I joined me school race team with no race experience and won. Lots of the kids i raced were racers. all you gotta do is get way the fuck in the front of your boots and lay down tons of edge. I really wish i never did it.

I started Racing..and for ^ Highschool racing doesnt take skill, try jumping up a few levels. and if you get a sweet course and some heavy speed racing is an awesome way to relieve some stress..and Racers just want to ski like everyone else and why not hit the park

I didn't read any of the other posts because i just want to get straight to the point with this deuschbag. you are IGNORANT. skiing is skiing, and just because someone races doesn't mean that they can't ski park. hell many racers are great in the park because they can actually make turns. not sliding your sorry ass jump to jump, but actually skiing. take your raw style somewhere else if you're going to be so negative. if anything you should encourage anyone who wants to be involved in our sport so long as they are being safe about it. geeeze.

Im not gonna bother reading this shit but fuck you Fis_sucks, you havd no fucking clue what you are talking about. the best skiers in the world are former racers. look at Shane mconkey, he use to be in the racing business and is not one of the top in the world. i wanta make a point here and this going off jumps is not just what skiing is about. sure you can go off a jump and do a rodeo 7 but the second you see a 45 degree spine yo will shit you pants or try doing a course at 50 mph+. i dont think so, give those guys some respect because every racer on this site is a better skier then you and can school you any day in and out of the park

i race and i did it in my 720 twin tips till i reached varsity and raced in the states NJ (not much) so i got me sum rossis and damn man states are hard. but i only do Ski Team so i get to be on the mountain 4 days a week right after school. Plus im at the terrain park during practice. besides once i was doing qualifying runs so i was in the spandex suit and in between the 2 runs i went to the park for sum laughs and to do what i love and that back mute in the spandex was the most awesome feeling in the world.

I like Skiercross courses. Look skiing is skiing. If you enjoy thats what its about. I think on Happys Days Mike DOuglas said something along the lines of 'Ihet paid to ski these are happy days. thats the attitude skiing should have. None of this racer versus Park versus big mountain. You strap 2 pieces of plastic or whatever to your feet and have fun, plain and simple
