Alright, last weekend when I was at Blackcomb and went switch going from the top of the Excalibur to the excelerator. Me thinking I was Mr. Hotshot thought I was so cool that I didn’t realize it was too late when some snowboarder came in and cut me off and I smoked her. The upside was that she was hot and was not hurt but the down side was that the line was 15+. Meaning there were like 50 people watching this. To add insult to injury my Dad yells at me “That’s one way to pick up Girls” while he was in the line up ahead. Any who, that my little story what’s yours?

 

So, what is your most embarrassing skiing accident that you have ever had?

under the chair off the ridge on Magoo right before it splits onto Downhill and Little Magoo (where most people go left onto Downhill).

well i couldn't actaully tell but that is jsut a guess. Heres what went down. So 143 left in the 2nd quarter. Theres a scramble and a collision for the on the way sideline right in front of the brunswick bench and Emmy goes down holding her head knees to chest face on the floor and Within 5 seconds the trainer and coach are around her and shes not moving, then the AD comes over and i have no idea whats going on and she just is there, then Dr. Nolan comes out of the stands and they have her sitting up supporting her neck, 5 minutes go by and the albulance shows up, they strap her into a backboard put her on the stretcher and brought her out.

wow yeah I've done the same thing except it was at the very bottom of the knoll under the chair at the split, where it pops you way high onto flat the skier's right side...except I cleared the flat and almost landed on some middle-aged boarder.

I was riding through a run fairly early in the season that later gets turned into the park. they only had rollers in it at the time. I popped a 180 off of one leading onto a steep slope. I'm ripping down backwards going like mach chicken (fast) and launch off a roller that I definitely hadn't seen. (flat light) i landed wayy over the front of my skis with my hand UNDERNEATH my right ski. my glove fell off and I fell over.
At the time I was skiing besides 2 friends who belittled me about it for the chair ride up.

so i'm hitting this flat down box set up at the bottom of the hill, early season.  I wait, and a snowboarder goes, falls, and gets up in the landing, and starts walking, so im like "OK, its clear now, so i hit it, and as im sliding the down part, i look up, and the god damn snowboarder is sitting in the landing again, so i have to fall off the box, looking like a noob infront of people

i broke my goggles boostin a flatspin to face and i was bleeding all over the park, my nose and mouth wouldnt stop bleeding.  and the next run, there was all this fog and snow in my goggles and i was goin up to this rail and i fell over like a texan, like no reason.  just caught an edge and felll over. it was way embarrresing.

i was riding switch down the flatest of down hill trails lookin for my friends that were behind me...so i was riding back wards not looking behind be becasue i didnt see anyone on the trail..and then i run into some dumb ass all white snowboarder sittin in the middle of the trail...didnt see him there hit him fell right onto him and he started swearin at me and shit hes got like 10 years on me at least and he like freaked out then i laughed in his face and rode a way

at keystone i was just cruising last weekend after the little culvert jib feature and went to speed check before the flat bar rail and just caught some soft snow and slammed myself in front of a crew of some good kids. felt like a n00b

Last winter in the liftline , I was holding on to the safety bar on the back of the sixchair in front of us to get into position for my chair instead of just skiing into place. so, i was holding on while it pulled me forward but then I let go all of a sudden, which made the safety bar drop right before everyone in the chair in front had sat down. so when they went to sit down they couldnt because the safety bar was in their way and they ended up being pushed along by the chair for 10 m or so. they had to stop the lift for a minute and the liftie gave me a quick talking to . i looked like an IDIOT.

Today I was hitting this box switch which I hit tons of times switch and greased it. It was a downbox but it was a little higher than the lip so if you went on straight at it there is a slight possibility to catch your skis underneath the box. This box was getting hiked by boarders all day and there was a solid 20 boarders waiting to hit it. I came in switch(A little overconfident), good speed, and didn't pop or something and BOTH of my tails got caught underneath the box. I back slapped right on the down box nailing my left asscheek, complete yardsale and everything. I drove home sitting on my right ass cheek.

our park just put a big new step up that required you speed tuck just about the whole to clear it right....

so i pop a 180 in the roller right before and manage to catch a edge right as i coming into the lip and i slam down and roll of the end of the lip. embarrassing to say the least, and it hurt really bad.

I was at mt hood in late october and there was a slalom course set up so I decided to ski it switch to impress some of the female racers with my backwards skiing abilities...half way through I straddled one of the gates and pretty much owned myself and got lauged at by a bunch of dudes in spandex

Hmm, i'd have to say either when I was practicing alley oops in the superpipe and somehow I ended up with my ass sitting on the deck with my legs dangling over the edge and my pants all rolled up, in front of the freestyle ski team that was having a practice.

Or when the park crew was doing maintenance on the park and I was getting ready to do the up rail, one of the park crew guys was waiting to groom the lip so he's kinda standing there waiting for me to hit it, he smiles at me and says jokingly "don't eat it", and of course I eat it, I catch an edge at the end of the rail, don't make the 270, instead I backflop onto my head and get concussed.

You need to learn a little something called the skiers responsibility code. It's your responsibility to avoid anyone downhill from you, and to scope out terrain if you can't see it.

For all you know, he was lying there because he just fell, so quit blaming your obvious screw-up on an innocent person who could have been hurt by your irresponsibility.

So me and a friend are seshing blackcomb, and we're ripping through the magical kiddie forest trails and castle and shit, so we both come ripping out of the trees to go to the catskinner chair, and i see a lady who gets freaked at the sight of the two of us ripping almost straight at her (100% in control wouldn't have even come close to hitting her had she not stopped) and so i barely miss the backs of her skis(not saying we weren't at fault or anything), and my friend clips her skis, she falls(unhurt) and he falls(unhurt as well) and so he gets up says sorry, helps her up and we head down to the chair, and as we're getting on this lady hops on the chair with us right between us, and so within 5 seconds of heading up, I realize the lady who just got on the chair with us is the SAME lady who we both almost killed, and the first words that come out of her mouth.. "So.. how was your last run boys....." jeeeeesus

me and 6 other guys were trying to get a liftys number but she was in her little hut at the top. So our plan was taht three of us would go on the lift and the ohter four would go behind us then at the top the first three would fall then the next ones would fall on us making her come out and we cousld say something clever for our friend to get this girl. So evrything works out we all fall a huge 7 person pile up she then comes out of the hut and just sais..why?

so we didnt get our number and everyother person taht saw us thought we were stupid

Today I was going down and about to pop over a lower rope and then suddenly my skis go under it, I put my arms out just in time for the rope to smack me in the face sending me into a back flip, then I smacked my head on the ground. I felt soooo cooool after that one.

one time i came off a c-box switch and continued riding switch and when i turned around realy fast a sprayed snow all over like 10 snowboarders and they all started swearing at me and felt like a dip shit. it sucked

so i'm teaching two kids in a lesson, and we're going down one of the easy runs cuz its the kids first times. they were be hind me, so i go and pop a little 180 and land switch to see where they are, when i land, my skis double eject on me and i go flying backwards and land flat on my ass. when i look up, my skis are 30 feet up hill and my helmet and goggles are 50 feet downhill. my kids laughed at me the rest of the run.

just last week i was bombing down this hill and there was like a lesson group taking up the whole width of the run so i start to slow down then i just hit a bump the wrong way and i flipped over and did a full on scorpion down the hill until i stopped because my face got stuck in the snow so i pulled myself out and im caked in wet snow and all the little kids are pointing and laughing... it was pretty great

It was the first day i ever skied with a backpack on; i was skiing under the chair where there was a bit of untouched fresh snow and i hit this little bump thing as fast as i could to see how far i could jump. Well the weight of the pack made me lean way back so i landed way backseat, my pack dug into the snow somehow and catapulted me a good 10 ft. so i'm trying to pick myself up and my dad is yelling "LOOSER!" off the chair.

this past weekend, i was up at smuggs vermont, and i was tooling out of some nice powdery glades, i see my friends waiting for me at the bottom of them, (because i had taken a different trail than them not realizing it) so i decide im going to launch off this mogul and, to my dismay, i didnt realize that there was a small ditch in front of it with a huge mound of pow, so i go face first into this mound, which happens to be
right under one of the lifts. so im covered in snow, and my friends are loling, along with my friends dad who happened to be on the lift right above me. haha. pretty fun though.

long time ago i started a 6 person pile up, thankfully, all people i was skiing with

first my friend one cuts me off, i hit him with my pole, my poles gets caught, friend 1 truns away i fall sideways as i drag friend 1 down with me, then my pole "clotheslines" friend 2's skis, he double ejects. friend 3 hits me, friend 4 hits friend 2, friend 5 turns out of the way and is cut off by friend 6, goes down, the friend 6 runs us all over, everyone laughs, especiall people on the chairlift, fun times, i used to be invincible

it is a nice warm early season day, so i decide to take my girl skiing with my buddy. it's not her first time, but she isn't that great. i decided why wear a helmet since i'll be teaching her to ski all day. so she wants to take a break so we decide to hit the park for a little and she wanted to watch so that was word. i am at the bottom of basically the rail park since it was early season waiting for my buddy to come down so we can go get something to eat. and i see this snowboarder hop over this rope. it was probably 2 feet high. so i was like shit that was pretty sweet, then i see another one do it and purposely drag his tail on it some. so again i am like huh that looked pretty cool. i tell my buddy, and we go to the lodge to get something to eat. we come back up to the park and it is PACKED, so we decide to just take a couple laps and peace since sam wants to ski at this point anyways. i go to the bottom and have to try this rope jumping shit, so i do. i go up to it and my tips catch it and i fucking faceplant onto the snow, and hard. i lay there for a minute and i'm like holy shit i am so stupid. so i look up, and literally what seems like the WHOLE park is staring at me laughing. i was so embarrassed. think i got a slight concussion from it too...fuck ropes

mmmm i snowboarded for 3 years...

and i was up at brighton last year, just got some Mojo skis, with rental bindings( ChaChing) cause i live in GA and dont get to ski much....but i hit a kicker in their park did a 360 and when i landed my skis just popped off and i flipped down the landing...one ski went one way and my other right beside me....i got the one ski when i saw these three gangster kids getting my other...i yelled at them cause i thought they were taking it, but it turns out they were getting it out of the way....

Got 2 from this season... takin the bunny hill at WinterPark to get to the right lift, and pop a 180 to holla at some dudes girl friend who was just learning, yell out "CALL ME" then proceed to yard sale both skis, helmet, gloves, and poles...almost lost a boot too cuz just got outta the car and was a mess...hillarious!!!!

Last week rollin into Dark Territory at Winter Park (you need a park pass to get in) come flying down to enter in and have the parky check my pass, totally hit a snow snake and blew up two feet from the entrance of DT... They were reluctant to let me in...Don't blame them.

i was riding up the rope tow and watching some dudes hit some jumps, not watching where i was going. i ended up ramming into this stationary mexican kid who for some reason had stopped being dragged up the hill let go of the rope and didnt move. the eqaculation was superb but i just felt like a faggot for ramming his tight chipotle anus.
