When are the BC events going to come...

Some of us don't have a park at our mountain, and therefore cannot compete in any of these rail contests. We can build all the booters we please and film off those, but easily accessible jumps are not here either. So...when is there going to be a big mountain contest?
A cliff huck mandatory size...steep terrain...cornice huck...tree jib or something...then a BC booter or two to finish it off. Doesn't have to be in that order, but it would be a great contest for people who don't like to slide on metal with their nicely tuned skis.

jessus,, why would you want to compete in the bc when you have all that shit, id much rather just go out and get all the fresh with a few of my friends rather than having a whole bunch of people go out and hit perfectt pow jumps.. id much rather film than compete anyways in the bc

no I'm talking about those online NS rail contests, why can't there be one like that, just for big mountain?
And sometimes there is no fresh to be had...I like jumping too, and the jumps suck when there isn't powder.

I rarely ski mt. washington, I'm only skiing it 5 or 6 times this season because it's the closest mtn to my school now. I normally ski crystal 40+ days a year, and crystal has no park.

Big mountain and BC booters are far less accessible to a greater population of NS members then parks are.

yes, but what about the small population that doesn't ski the park all the time.

oh and I'm talking about events like the Uberopen and those online rail contests, not actual big mountain comps.

no. NS right now is hosting online rail contest (upload a video of you sliding a rail doing tricks on/off of it), and most recently a US open qualifying slopestyle online contest.
I'm wondering if they will do something like that that incorporates big mountain and newschool skiing together in an online format.
All times are Eastern (-4)
