I kinda give my friend shit for cheating all the time in school even though he doesn't really at all but just to bust his balls. Anywho... i have all the answers to my math final and they will give me a 99% on it and i have a 69 % in the class and i know it is kinda a shitty thing of me to do on the test, but do you guys think i should copy????

if you like really good grades then yes 69 is almost a 70 which is a C- and a C is average

if i don't use um i will fail and get a D in the class thus resulting in my ass getting wooped by my dad... if i use it i will get a solid C....

maybe i'm unethical but cheating isnt that big of a deal. i was in the same situation but it was cheating off of someone else. i would've gotten a C but instead i aced the final and got a B.
id do it.

Cheating= the only way i passed high school spanish.  meh i got no problem with cheating on tests as long as you dont copy the entire test.

if you do decide to use it, be sure not to do TOO good, considering your doing bad in that class and then you out of the blue get a 99%.... might be kinda suspicious

of course it isnt ethical, is pre marital sex ethical? is recreation drug use and underage alcohol consumption ethical? is killing kittens ethical? no, but i participate in all of them, for self enjoyment and personal gain.

it's not really hurting anyone, so I wouldn't worry about it. There are a lot of other decisions that are much more important that you should probably think about instead.

how did you get all your answers to your final?
anyway...i think it's all up to your morals and depends on if you think it will raise your grade enough for it to make a big difference.

doesnt sound like you do to well in the class so if you go and get an 99 on a test your teach might be suspicious.  id use the answers to get like somewhere between an 85 and 93.

No, but sometimes the not-too-bright need to catch a break. Who wants to get their ass beat down by Dad? The problem is if you're a D student and you suddenly get an A+ on a test... well it doesn't look good.

I get what you mean but I feel that if I have the need to cheat, then something is being done wrong on the teacher's part.  i so rarely cheat because I dont need to.

we get to use a notecard on teh final it's pre-calc btw.. and or teacher realizese he is soo shitty that he is giving us a bonus 10% grade boost so what ever you get you add 10 % and thats what you got on the final. So on the notecard i wrote all the equations from all the chapters and all that shit and inbetween words on teh front i wrote the first like 16 or soemthing answers and on the back in between words i wrote the final answers spread out... i think it should be legit and i don't sell um to my friends i gave um around cause i'm a nice guy.. and i'm not a D student i just dont do my homework and pre-calc is basically mision imposible..

Maybe I'm just not a very ethical person, but... I cheated my way through all of high school and never thought twice about it. Learning how to take advantage of the system is easily as valuable to your future as all the bullshit they expect you to learn in high school.

well, i say if you can live with it, then thats all that really matters. occasionally you will have these types of opportunities in life, and its up to you what you decide to do. I would get a couple wrong on purpose though, just to throw em off a little.

I seriously think cheaters are freakin' losers. Not facing the realities of your own failures will get you nowhere in life. I've been in bad situations like yours, and chose to do poorly rather than put myself above the other students who actually did the work needed to get their marks. I let everybody cheat off me when they wanted to in highschool for homework, tests or whatever, but it will catch up to you at some point in your life. There's a reason cheating is so serious in college, it's that it's highly unethical. Looks like you won't get into college anyways, so what the hell...

Chill. Not facing the realities of your own failures will fuck you over when it's over something that's actually important. If math isn't your thing and you have to take it because it's high school so you cheat, it's not going to fuck you over. Did cheating make me lazier? Yes. When I got to college and I couldn't rely on cheating to succeed whenever things got tough, I figured my shit out and ended up with a 3.2. The ability to adapt to change is definitely as valuable as perseverance.

Did cheating help me? Absolutely. It taught me that banging my head against a wall doesn't do shit. Sometimes you're just not going to get it, and it's better to find a more efficient way to achieve your end result (a good grade) than waste your time... so I schmoozed with teachers after class, learned to bullshit papers like a pro, etc. I then took that time I saved and applied it to classes that actually had an effect on my future... or I drank myself silly, but either way if you think doing poorly in a class that has no effect on your future but does have an effect on your GPA is better than cheating, you're out of your mind. Lastly, as I said, taking advantage of the system is an invaluable skill that has saved me numerous times in and out of school. Don't hate.

We just heard in Ethics (our professor is from austria but has a canadian wife) that there is a big difference between europe and canada/northern america on how cheating is seen.
in europe, it's not a big deal, everyone does it (at least in highschool, not at university)
he says that in canada, a lot of people (including his wife) think that its unethical to do it, b/c of your classmates and stuff...
but if you fail otherwise, cheat this time, and start learning earlier next time.

so in my physical chemistry class we had a take home test and some people cheated on it and she gave us this big lecture on letting people cheat and get away with it is a bad thing and were all pre-med/pharm/dent students, so then she said that the people that get by cheating are the ones that accidentally kill your baby by giving them the wrong medicine, right as she said that she scanned the room and landed on me because she could tell i was trying not to laugh. so yeah dont cheat or you will kill my baby

i don't plan on going into medicine jsut business sales or marketing so i might loose all your money.. on the test none of the answers worked found out like right in the begging so no big deal i guess i got form B i still got a 95 percent thought thanks to peeps around me and i am already into college and i needed to get a C in this class or my insurance on my car goes up extra 300 bucks cause i wouldn'tg et good driver discount... everything worked perfect and i am going to Illinois state go me :)

i'd say memorize the answers to the written questions, and the general outline of the multiple choice, therefor you can bullshit your way to most of the marks even if you don't know how to show your work...annnd you're guaranteed like 90 unless uou're an r tard. it would be suspicious if you got 99% and couldn;'t show your work

and yeah getting away with cheating is a skill. so if you can do it do it. But i would get a few wrong answers so they dont suspect

i was really busy this week and had a huge assignment due tomorrow..so i just copied someone else and got 100%. then again, i have a 95 in the class, so the same thing would have happened if i had the time to sit down and do it

hahaha in my high school spanish that im in right now, we have ridiculous tests and then we have like a chain of people copying each other. the teacher is not too bright. but sometimes the answers get really messed up, and we're not copying the whole test, just the one's nobody knows.
