so me and my friends bulit a 5ft drop in and a 1'8" pvc rail and it basicaly when we try to go down and get air we stop before we even make it to the end of the jump. We uses plywood and covered that with astroturf. any tips or suggestions would really help. no meaningless posts please
it looks like this
"if you dont do it this year you will be one year older when you do"
what you may need to do is put snow fence on the inrun up to the jump, because the turf sometimes can slow you down. Also i would try soap and water and make sure it is consistently wet. Try to reduce the amount of time you are on the ground, example. move rail closer. Pole pushes are vital, and make sure you pump through the whole thing to get maximum speed. also reduce the size of the jump in order to make it to the top.
You must feel like a real alstar
Well aren't you just the coolest!
soap and stuff works ok.. but you really either need snow fence or try like porch latice liek the plastic fencing so you really get some speed. i had the same prob with mine and we just went to a ice rink and got a little snow. a tiny bit works but if you cant, get some fencing.
