damn, i didnt really think about it, because my whole body was sore from skiing two days in a row at least knee deep everywhere...so i was like yeah lets have a celebratory toke. and i had a really weird high...(from one bowl, it was bad)

You most likely did have a concussion.

Basically in simple terms, when you have a concussion your brain continues to move around a bit inside your skull even after the crash, kind of moving around on the brain stem in a sense. This tampers with some nerve cells that help to keep you alert and then a whole bunch of synapses and chemical reactions start to happen in your brain because some neurons and nerve cells are going haywire and start to malfunction. Since there is this abundance of chemical reactions going on in your brain already, and you were already experiencing headaches etc. it was probably not a good idea to smoke pot simply because it too fucks around with chemicals in your brain. You probably experienced an easy high for many reasons such as your brain already being stressed, tiredness, dehydration, exhaustion etc. Most doctors tell people not to use narcotics after a concussion... you'll probably be fine. Next time have some tylenol or advil instead to help control the inflammation of your tired joints/injuries.

your high was fucked up cuz when u fell you probably made your brain hit the side of your skull. Then afterwards when you smoked your brain produced excess dopeamine, but due to the injury your brain didn't know what to do. so smoking and head injuries probably shouldn't mix.

marijuana is not a narcotic.  it's just a plant, plain and simple.

that out of the way, i would have smoked a bowl, mang, so don't worry.  look at it like icing a bruise.  your brain got a little banged up, so you gave it a bit of THC to make it feel better.

It's still a mood altering substance.

If you read what I wrote I didn't say marijuana was a narcotic, I said that doctors tell people not to take narcotics after a head injury, and then said he (the kid from the thread) should be fine, since it wasn't a narcotic.

you never pointed out that marijuana isn't a narcotic.  don't take it personally, i was just clarifying that point.
