Go to the northern island of Hokkaido.  They have the best pow blowing in from Siberia.

Asahidake in hokaido thats were almost all the film crews have gone and ive skied there my self...its so good, the actual marked trails are nothin special but the stuff in the trees is awsome since most japanese dont ski in the trees because of spirits or sumthin
