But, initially I would say restart the computer and try to import the video again. Also have you done any software updates to make sure you have the last version. Go to the apple in the top left, click it, and go to software update. If there is stuff that needs updating, install it and then check again if the problem persists.
all it says is iMovie quit unexpectly and none of the OSX shit was harmed blah blah blah. then it said would you like to try to reopen iMovie or send an error report to apple. I tried rebooting and all that gay shit. nd i am dling a few updates but nothing for i movie.
haha, i have never seen a iMovie thread without a comment about how iMovie sucks or to Use Final Cut.
but that happened to me when i first started using Final Cut, but one day it just started working, so i would just keep trying and check your connections
its wierd cuz the same thing happens with my AIM to. it will jsut randomly close and the message pops up saying that application has closed unexpectly.  its really annyoing so i might be driving down to my local apple store tomarrow and raise some hell
