Unsurvivable accident survived (cool car destroyed)
apparently the guy driving usually went much faster on that raod all the time. he says that it felt like ice and he just skid sideways into the tree. he climbed out of the car himself and called paramedics and tow truck himself. he went to the hospital for a check up and left with a couple of scratches and a bandaid around his fingers.
here are the pics ohh and the car is an RS6 by the way
damn. that looks bad, guess it shows something for audi's safety system and luck though.
at least it was just an audi... i'd be so much more disappointed if i saw a really rare car destroyed like an enzo, or a 22b.
im not a wreck expert but it looks like he might have skidded and turned his car so it hit in the back on the non drivers side...i can see how he survived but im shocked as how he isnt more fucked up
You indeed can, but it still stands to reason that the RS6 would primarily be made left hand drive due to its origins. Theres no law prohibiting driving left hand drive cars on left-side driving roads, its just kinda different.
Yeah usually Europeans drive with right handed cars I always see in Top Gear the guy complaining about driving left handed ones, and I didnt notice "Police" on the front of that car because I didnt have it blown up, sorry.
i saw a wrx crash into 2 trees in real life and the car split in half, it was on fire and the driver flew like 80 feet down the road. he was going around 120 running from the cops drunk on a main road where the speed limit is 40, i was in the parking lot that the car flew into, pieces of it even hit me. and it killed him his girlfriend, and his girlfriends little sister. it was definatly the most crazy thing ive ever seen.
In England they drive right hand drive cars, which is where Top Gear is filmed. In the rest of Europe most countries are left hand drive. This is not a universal thing through the continent of europe, it varies from country to country.
Since it was conceived in Germany, believe it or not they changed the car ffor the American market. The RS4 also was only sold in Avant form (in the b5) and only now did they create a sedan version for the b7.
As for the crash, it happened a while ago but it is still amazing to see that that man is still alive.
Amen brother. I was looking into buying an audi to replace my grand cherokee, and every car I looked at was more worn out at 60,000 miles than my jeep at 170,000. This included a Audi that was my dad's friends car. He is very meticulous with maintence, and keeping a good coat of wax on it. This car had 40,000 miles on it and was already rusting along the bottems of the doors. In addition to looking terrible, at 60,000 miles these cars all drove terrible. They were very worn out feeling, sloppy steering, lots of play in the front end, driveline noise, etc. These cars drove almost as bad as the Mercedes S430 that had 55,000 miles on it when I drove it to my house for a full detail. But I would expect that from Mercedes. Enough of the rant, take it for what its worth.Â
bull shit audis are tin cans. if that was any other car that guy would be dead. i was in a car accident where my friend rolled an audi over 100 yards into a field, over a fence and ditch, going 90+ mph and i can say with a good amount of confidence that i would have died if i was in a different car, but then again we probably wouldn't have been going 90 mph in another car.
I pretty sure a BMW would have done just as well or better in that crash. Also there are many other cars that I would feel safe going 90 mph in. 90 is not that fast, on decent roads with good visability. Â
