So I was in a lift line Sunday, I guy walked up to me and said "why are you wearing Oakley, Seth Morrison wears that jacket and pants, why are you trying to dress like him"?  WTF  HAHA, I look at this guy and hes wearing a full face helmet (like a MX one) while skiing groomers.  I could not believe this, this guy says that only pros can wear Oakley.  I was like no matter what jacket I wear from Oakley it will look like Seth, Tanner, Sammy or Simon.  HAHA.  I dunno, Im just bored and typing too much.

One time I was getting my skis from the rack and some 40+ year old guy came up behind me and pushed me and started beacking off at me about how I have no respect.  Turns out he left his gloves laying on the ground in front of the ski rack and I stepped on one of them.  I was in so much shock at this guy that I could barely even say anything.  I thought he was gonna try to kill me or something he was so fucking pissed off cause I accidently stepped on his glove that he left laying on the ground

No, it's just that you look like one, face it though, Oakley clothing is expensive and other then the fact that a lot of pros wear it, there is very little attraction to it. For the most part they have shitty waterproofing, shitty fabric that rips easy, and overall shitty colors and patterns. 4 years ago it was good stuff, now it is of poorer quality then what I wipe my ass with and uglier then what I wipe my ass with looks like after I wipe my ass. And yes, in my opinion most 'matching' setups look horrible. Thats why the north face made their one piece look like a two piece; because it looks better.

you said they are worse than the shit you wipe your ass with? so you are either wiping your ass with $3-400 dollar pieces of toilet paper or your stupid. also i dare you to go skiing in toilet paper ONLY and see how well it works. i have oakley stuff cuz i like the colors and think it is pretty good stuff. and don;t talk about it being crappy material you are full of shit in most circumstances if you abuse the stuff which i do it will wear and tear

no my toilet paper is not overpriced like Oakley outerwear, I would not wipe my ass with Oakley because it would rip and I would get shit all over my hand. And if I was going to fork over a couple months pay for a jacket I would want to make sure it kept me dry and was not designed to look like I am heading to Iraq.

instead of getting all worked up about it (ie creating a thread whining about how bad your feelings were hurt), you could have just laughed in his face and said something along the lines of "there's all this snow to be skied up here and you're worried about the brand of my ski clothing??!?!?"  or maybe even dusted his bitch ass on the trail. 

i agree the dude is a douche for giving the slightest fraction of a fuck about what you're wearing, but if you care that much to spend all this time bitching about it then you're no better.  


and i hope this isn't the reason you're selling the setup.
