I have a ticket, can I get it off my record?
I really want to get this off my record so it doesn't effect my insurance, what can I do?
pay it and don't bitch about it.
Where do you live??? In Ontario it clears after 2 years.
I have no problem paying it, but I would like to get it off my record since i don't want it to affect my insurance.
lawyer, it will cost you a decent amount unless one of your friends dad is.
i have no idea about getting it off the record, but i've had friends who refuse to pay it and they get fucked. so just don't do that.
in most states in the US (I'm assuming you're from Indiana?) you can
ask the judge for a deferral, which means if you don't get a ticket for
another year you don't have to pay the ticket and it doesn't go on your
record. However, if you do get another ticket within a year, you have
to pay both tickets and they both go on your record. And you can only
be granted one deferral every seven years.
