What happens when youre hungry and theres no food...

so my mom had been gone all weekend. so obviously, there are no groceries.
my dad took me out to breakfast, which is sweet, but then i was hungry again. I figure a PB&J would hit the spot juuuuuuuust fine, so i go to the kitchen to make one.
unfortunately we have no peanut butter. or bread. which are two pretty important ingredients in a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. so i brain storm. we do have delicious passion fruit jelly. and tortillas! but still no peanut butter. then i see our trader joes chunky soy bean butter. oh God. it had to be done. so basically i just had a soy bean and passion fruit jelly tortilla. any stories of your hunger driven experimentations?

i hate to do it but i'll just go out and buy a meal. going out and buying groceries makes sense too

I always used to lose weight in the summer because my mom wouldn't buy groceries and I would be too lazy to find and make something to eat.

when i had no money in montana, i took the croutons from the many crouton bags i had saved up from fast food salads, opened them, poured them on a plate, covered them in grated cheese, and microwaved. thats all the food i had for two days. croutons and cheese.

other times ive had nothing but a jar of peanut butter, and ate out of the jar of peanut butter for a few days at a time.

That's basically my life story. I never make myself meals, I just grab whatever I see and never really get full or anything. When my mom comes home, thats when I have a meal cause she makes it for me :)

I'd recommend string cheese. I could eat 100's of those, soo good.

ha, who says you need to have no other food to eat that?

I have this strange thing i do sometimes where i just won't eat for a long time. Not like hours, i mean like days. Longest i've gone is from school lunch on a friday to school lunch on a monday. No particular reason though, a combination of no food and laziness i guess

i cook for myself often
i'm the only vegetarian in the house, so it must be done

anyway, i ususlly just eat plain bread on any sort

at work when i forgot my lunch i'd just eat a bunch of hotdog rolls with ketchub on them

dont EVER EVER EVER go grocerie shopping when your A) hungry or B) blazed!!!

i did that for A and B and i got back and realized i bought like 175 dollars worth of shitty junk food!

i even had a little box of those edible little decoration things that you put on the top of birthday cakes....dont know how those got in there. dont remember haha

but yea bein hungry sucks!!!!

i guarentee you have SOMETHING... to eat...

everytime it gets really bad and im convinced there is nothing in there to eat... i can always come up with something even if its as simple as a pack of rice way back in the pantry... be satisfied or get creative...

i really doubt your parents leave you at home to stave for the weekend...

when i'm hungry and there is no food, i drink water. then..i dunno. either i look around to see if there is ANYTHING around or i just go out and get a snack or grocery shop, or i just don't eat and let the urge go away til later.

eating ice is acually very filling. and if you want some zing try adding paprica or salt, it reallllly boosts the flavor

i drink a lot of liquids, order pizza, or just buy enough food everyweek to last me a couple days. i usually just eat at work.

yea, ill go to the one shutty gorcerie store and eat all tehir like nuts and shit and when they kick me out i go to the legit grocery store and eat cookies, and then when they kick me out go to the 1st one and steal some food and stuff, or dine n' dash

Working out sucks...

I have to eat 6-7 balanced meals, per day. Lots of eggs, meat, pasta...If I skip one meal, it's the same as going back a day in training.

I wish I could skip meals, like back in the day.
