Replying to FAQs on ACLs

A2theWK:
How much force does it need to tear an acl?
How long is the recouperation period after a surgery and how well does such a wound heal?
How many times can you theoretically tear an ACL and still be able to ski after appropriate surgery and therapy?
How much is the cost for surgery?
How do you know you have torn your acl?
If the acl is not torn but overstretched could you have surgery and is this reposnisble to do ?
Are there kneebraces that stabilize the knee so to somewhat prevent the twisting and thus the tearing of an acl?
Is it possible not to ask such silly questions about topics upon which much information is already widley available.
How long does its take after a torn Acl surgery that you can start to do sports again?
How long until you are practically back to full throttel physically?

Sincerely
Yours Useless
