Looking for feedback on the Line Blends

I can get a killer deal on some '07 Chronic Blends (last year's model), and I'm looking to get some feedback on them. The other ski I'm looking at is the '08 Volkl Bridge, but it's a lot more expensive.
I want a ski that is reasonably stiff, but still lively with plenty of pop. I ski the whole mountain, I'm 6'1", 200 lbs. I've been riding a pair of '03 K2 PEs for the past three seasons, and I'm looking for something with a similar flex (if not maybe a little stiffer), but with more pop and a livelier feel. Will the '07 Chronic Blends fit the bill, or should I drop the extra cash (about $250 more) on the Volkls?
On a side note, I had a pair of Line Skogens about 5 years ago and they were not very good, just felt like wet noodles and had very poor durability on the topsheet and base. Has the durability of Line skis improved over the past few years?
Any and all feedback is welcome. Thanks.

One more ski that I just realized I should be considering: The 4Frnt MSP in a 181. I feel like these skis might be a little too flexy for my tastes, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

They're definately more lively than the the Public Enemy, but they're a fair bit softer and probably not what you're looking for. Think of the Skogens but 5mm wider. They have the same topsheet material as well. If you were 40lbs lighter they'd be a great ski. I wouldn't recommend them if you're 200lbs. If the Bridges are anything like the Karmas then you'll probably like them.

my bud rides them and he skis both big mountain and park pretty aggressively

they are nothing like the old skogens... skogens were noodles. after flexing the bridge i would say they are pretty simular to the blend in terms of flex

Very solid ski. Great for ripping shit up everywhere because its not a noddle but its snappy as hell off jumps!

Thanks for the info guys. Keep it coming.
One thing I'm questioning about the Blend: it has a lot more sidecut than comparable skis, such as the Volkl Bridge. Even compared to my old-ass PEs that I'm looking to replace, it has a lot more sidecut. Is this something I should be concerned about, or does it not really make a difference? I just wanna make sure this ski will hold its own in the powder and soft stuff.

Keep in mind, the Bridge is the best ski ever made. But you have a great point, only htign stopping me from them this year is the price.

hmmm?
No.
I rode the Brdge's for a day last year and they were honestly the best all-mountain ski I've ever skied, and I've skied on alot of skis in the similar catagory. i would be on them this year if i had a tad more money, I'd recommend them for anyone considering them.

Dammit, you're not making my choice any easier here.
Again about the sidecut though... the Blend seems to have a lot of it. Too much maybe compared to other skis in this category?
All times are Eastern (-4)
