they are making the jump WAYYYYYY safer this year, apparantly jon and a couple other guys are designing the jump this year, with no gap in between the landing and a much wider landing, with a lot more speed
if you go to icerair.com and go to the video section and watch the flyover, the jump is gonna be much different looking this year, no gap, much wider landing, and much smoother trannies
I was truly stoked to see an ad for the Icer Air while I was sitting home watching TV in VT 3,000+ miles away. Made me even more jealous. Shit looked really ill last year.
Apparently they are bringing in the Scandinavian David Ny to build the jump. He's a full time professional pipe, park, and boardercross builder who works a lot for FIS snowboarding and various pro ski/snowboard events. He built the JOI jump last year. This should make for a much better setup than last years Icer air fiasco.
