500 post in the 500 dollar thread.. ironic!

Use PVC pipe and wood. It's very simple, mine works fine. I built an 8 ft long double barrel that was about 3 feet high for 14 dollars. It's dirt cheap, and ideal if you dont have the ablity to weld stuff.

Go to a junk yard or a construction site and steal some rails. All of the rails that I have in my backyard are stolen. You can find some pretty nice rails. You can epoxy wood supports on the rails and you can have a professional terrain park for about 50$

Lemonade tastes good. You could raise the price of it to $0.27 a glass. Instead of the traditional $0.25/glass. That extra $0.02 will go a long way but thats just my 2 cents worth.

yeah i dont know where you are getting those prices. metal piping is fairly cheap. look around of old rails and dump sites norally have rails you can find for free.

our hill's rails are crappy. they are like double barrel metal pipping and are supported by wood i think with some plywood on the outside consealing the frame. They are really ghetto, hopefully next year when they re-do the park/pipe they will get some real rails.

you can make a half pipe as small as you want, if you're gonna make a ghetto half pipe as in do it yourself, it's best to have the shape of it in the ground specially cause you don't have too much snow. If you already have the shape in the group you don't have to build the walls up as much. But when you build it don't be cheap with putting the snow on there cause if you put a thin cover on then after a few runs you wore it down. and if you build it into the ground dont build it as high as you want the walls, you gotta build up the height more than anything else.
